A 20 cm (8 in) seat can be built from two stacked 10 cm (4 in) layers or from one solid block, so say which you prefer when you ask for the quote. [Stacked layers](https://orientalsofa.com/floor-sofas/) are separate pieces, not sewn together, and the top one can come off as an extra floor seat or a guest mattress. Front-on photos flatten height, so ask for a side-on photo or a short video with a tape measure standing against the seat. For an older relative, ask about 30 cm (12 in) or 40 cm (16 in) full-foam seats.
