Cushions are pressed, rolled and vacuum-sealed for shipping and spring back to full size once you open them; they can't be re-compressed at home.
Your set ships in several boxes, typically two or three for an L-shape and more for larger layouts, and they may arrive on different days.
Every box gets its own tracking number, emailed as soon as your order ships.
Each shipment travels with a commercial invoice that lists the goods, their value, weight and materials.
Care
Covers unzip and can be machine-washed on a gentle 86°F (30°C) cycle with a mild detergent; avoid heat, which can shrink them.
How high will you sit?
If someone at home finds low seats hard to get up from, choose 12 in (30 cm) or the 16 in (40 cm) sofa-height option; 4 in (10 cm) to 8 in (20 cm) suits a classic floor-style room or a prayer room.

Can the Minimal-Detailed Royal Arabic Jalsah brocade be made in black and gold instead of navy?
The brocade comes in the colorways it is woven in, and some patterned designs are not woven in true black at all. Where black is missing, a very dark navy or charcoal is usually the closest match, so ask to see every colorway of this brocade before choosing.

The black mandala rug, the chandelier and the Greek-key valance belong to the photographed hall and are quoted only on request. Among our Arabic majlis sofa designs, this one puts its gold into the woven fabric itself rather than into trim strips.
How does a U layout handle its two inside corners?
At each inside corner the second run starts one seat depth out, so a U gives up two seat depths of wall in total. A 177 in (450 cm) back wall is then shared into three equal 59 in (150 cm) pieces.
The designer spaces the striped bolsters so a long U never feels crowded, and a large U usually takes six or more of them. In the photographed hall a round pouf fills one inside corner, a styling touch I like because it softens the turn. Custom orders start with a layout plan for your approval.
How low should brocade seating sit under a chandelier?
Under a chandelier I would keep the seats low, around 8 in (20 cm), so the eye travels across the brocade to the medallions on the rug. Guests who rise often are better served by 12 in (30 cm), and a raised build reaches 14.5 in (37 cm) to 16 in (40 cm) depending on the model.

How big should the rug be inside a U of brocade seating?
Measure the open floor between the runs once the seating plan is fixed, then choose the rug. Stock rugs run from 31.5 × 79 in (80 × 200 cm) up to 79 × 118 in (200 × 300 cm), though not every size is made in every design.
I would let the black rug carry the mandalas and keep the pillows in plain navy, so the gold shows in the weave and the rug border and nowhere else. Other sets with gold trim, star tables and damask are gathered among the royal majlis designs. Ask us about fabric swatches and a foam sample before you order.

Is the black mandala rug included with the Minimal-Detailed Royal Arabic Jalsah?
Rugs are add-ons to a custom majlis quote, so the black mandala rug in the photos is not part of the seating. Rugs can be ordered on their own as well, in stock sizes or made to your floor.
Can this brocade majlis be planned as a single straight run?
Sets are planned as a single straight run, an L or a U, so one wall of brocade seating works well. A straight run ends with a bolster at each open end, and every seat piece stays at 75 in (190 cm) or shorter.
Can the brocade go on the backrests only, with plain navy seats?
Patterned backrests over plain seats are one of the usual combinations, and plain navy velvet for the seats is picked from the color card. The gold then stays on the backrests while the seats read as one calm band.
