Everything happens remotely: your wall lengths, a sketch and a few photos come first, then a layout plan and quote to sign off. Once your personal order link is paid, work begins. Will I see a drawing of the whole layout, with every piece sized, before paying?
A layout drawing comes first: every seat, backrest, armrest and corner piece is drawn with its size and position, and production waits for your sign-off. Keep the drawing for delivery day, so each piece lands on the right wall.

If courier transit is quick, why does a custom order take weeks rather than days?

How can I see what a majlis looks and feels like before ordering from abroad?
Sets are made to order in our Istanbul workshop, so there is no store where you can try one. Instead, the team shows finished pieces, foam and fabric live on a video call.

What do you need to send before a custom majlis can be quoted?
Four things get a quote started: each wall measured corner to corner with doorways left out, a sketch showing which figure belongs to which wall, a few room photos, and your preferred seat height. Any unit works; clear furniture from the walls before measuring.
A quote depends mostly on the total running length of seating, then on the model, seat height, build and backrest style.

How do you buy a majlis online when you can't see it in a store first?
We don't have a showroom; ask us for a sample box or a video call.

What changes when you choose a ready-made floor sofa set?
Standard floor sofa sets come in single, L-shaped and U-shaped layouts with fixed sizes, so no layout plan is needed.
- Pick a design and a layout, then a cushion thickness: 4 in (10 cm) and 8 in (20 cm) are the everyday choices, 12 in (30 cm) and 16 in (40 cm) usually made to order.
- Standard sets are paid through a secure payment link before dispatch — ask us for details.
- Ready-made sets are packed soon after payment — ask us for the current dispatch time.
- Made-to-order sets take a little longer than ready ones — ask us for the current timing.
- The cushions travel vacuum-packed, in several boxes that each carry their own tracking number.

What is different about ordering for a café, hotel or venue?
- Describe the venue: its plan or photos, how many guests need a seat, and your opening date.
- The team sketches a seating plan and proposes fabrics that cope with heavy daily use.
- A project quote sets out the plan, fabrics, production schedule and shipping method.

- After that the work runs like a home order, including your sign-off on a video of the completed seating.

How are production and transit times counted?
Production runs from your confirmation until the pieces are packed; transit starts when the courier collects the boxes.

How do you plan around a fixed date such as Eid or a café opening?
Put the date in your first message, and the plan is worked out backwards from it. For a close date, an in-stock floor sofa set is usually the answer; made-to-measure seating needs drawing, sign-off and production first.
Ramadan and Eid are the busiest weeks of the year in the workshop, so orders for those dates are best placed early.

What should you check when the boxes arrive?
Large sets can arrive over several days, so check every tracking number before counting pieces.
Open the vacuum bags within about a week and give the foam roughly a day to regain its shape before use. Custom pieces are numbered at the workshop to match their place on the plan.
If anything arrives damaged or missing, message us with photos as soon as you can and we'll put it right.

Frequently asked questions
Can an extra component stay only in a separate message?
Have the extra component added to the written piece list before confirming a custom order. Its dimensions, fabric reference and position should agree with the drawing, so the specification records the addition alongside the rest of the seating.
How long does a custom wooden majlis take to make?
Wooden pieces take longer to make than foam sets — ask us for the current schedule. Each frame is built and finished before any upholstery goes on, so wood needs more time than an all-foam build. Give any event date along with your measurements.
Is any seating kept in stock so it can ship straight away?
What stays in stock is mainly standard floor sofa sets: single, L-shaped and U-shaped layouts in listed colors, with 4 in (10 cm) or 8 in (20 cm) cushions. Ready-made sets are packed soon after payment — ask us for the current dispatch time. A made-to-measure majlis is never stocked, because each one is cut for one room.
Is there seating that can arrive in time for a wedding or family gathering a couple of weeks away?
For a date that close, an in-stock floor sofa set in a standard size and color is the realistic route. Ready-made sets are packed soon after payment — ask us for the current dispatch time. Transit to your region comes on top, so keep changes small, such as extra armrests.
