Which kind of set can keep a Ramadan or Eid date?
A family calendar usually fixes one date first, the evening when the room has to be ready for guests, and the choice of set follows from it. Ready sets come in standard sizes, and anything beyond them, from a deeper seat to a custom length, belongs to the made-to-measure route.
Ready-made sets are packed soon after payment — ask us for the current dispatch time.
Production time depends on your layout and the season — ask us for the current schedule.
Planning around Ramadan, Eid or a wedding? Tell us your date when you ask for a quote and we'll confirm what's achievable.
Ramadan and Eid are the busiest weeks in the workshop, so orders for those dates are best placed early. Extra pieces can follow once the room is in use.

Questions buyers ask
- The standard seat is about 27.5 in (70 cm) deep. Can it be made deeper, say 33.5 in (85 cm)?
- Seat depth can be made deeper on request, up to about 33.5 in (85 cm), and narrower, to about 19.5 in (50 cm) to 23.5 in (60 cm), for a small room. A deeper seat counts as custom work, so it follows the custom production schedule and not the ready-set one.
- Will the tracking numbers come by email, or will the team send them separately?
- Tracking numbers are emailed as soon as the order ships, and a set usually travels as several boxes, each with its own number. If the email does not arrive, message the team and ask for the numbers there, and keep both open in delivery week.
Can an 8 in (20 cm) seat come apart for overnight guests?
An 8 in (20 cm) seat is usually two stacked 4 in (10 cm) cushions in their own covers. Because the layers are separate pieces and not sewn together, the top one can lift off and serve as an extra floor mattress for a guest. If you would rather have one solid block that never shifts, ask for the one-piece build when you order.
Syrian ancestry makes up about 20% of Rhode Island's Arab-ancestry count, and the same wall seating goes by qaada, jalsa or diwan depending on the household.
Can an ottoman, pouf pillows or armrests join a set later?
A set is built in steps, from sofa only to a full set with an ottoman and three pouf pillows, and single pieces can be ordered any time. That covers seat cushions, backrests, corner backrests and armrests, as well as replacement foam and covers-only sets. The ottoman measures 23.5 × 23.5 × 8 in (60 × 60 × 20 cm) and a pouf pillow 27.5 × 19.5 in (70 × 50 cm), and the team can say how either can be ordered on its own.
Keep the model and color name from your order and send a photo of the set in place, so the new pieces are cut from the same fabric line.

How does a Rhode Island delivery unfold, box by box?
Cushions travel pressed, rolled and vacuum-sealed, and they spring back to full size once the bags are open. Open them within about a week of delivery and give the cushions about a day to recover their shape, and the room is ready by the evening after.

How do Lebanese and Syrian families figure in Rhode Island's counts?
Lebanese and Syrian ancestry lead the census counts here. In the Levant the seating along the wall is called a qaada, in the Gulf a jalsa and in Iraq a diwan, and a set measured to your walls is the same furniture under each name. I would not guess which word a household uses, so I would ask.

Local questions
If the date is close, which seat thickness is easiest to get?
The 4 in (10 cm) and 8 in (20 cm) sets are the everyday choices, while 12 in (30 cm) and 16 in (40 cm) cushions are usually made to order, so a close date points toward the thinner seats. Say the date in your first message, and the team tells you which version fits.
Can I check the colors before the holiday rush?
Solid colors are picked by number from our fabric color card, so a set can be made in a shade we have not photographed yet. Ask us about fabric swatches and a foam sample before you order.
What if a box is damaged or missing in the week before Eid?
A set often travels as several boxes that may arrive on different days, so check each box against its tracking number as it comes. If anything arrives damaged or missing, message us with photos as soon as you can and we'll put it right.
