Cushions are pressed, rolled and vacuum-sealed for shipping and spring back to full size once you open them; they can't be re-compressed at home.

Your set ships in several boxes, typically two or three for an L-shape and more for larger layouts, and they may arrive on different days.

Every box gets its own tracking number, emailed as soon as your order ships.

Each shipment travels with a commercial invoice that lists the goods, their value, weight and materials.

Care

Covers unzip and can be machine-washed on a gentle 86°F (30°C) cycle with a mild detergent; avoid heat, which can shrink them.

How high will you sit?

If someone at home finds low seats hard to get up from, choose 12 in (30 cm) or the 16 in (40 cm) sofa-height option; 4 in (10 cm) to 8 in (20 cm) suits a classic floor-style room or a prayer room.

Questions buyers ask

My room is very large. Do you make majlis seating for big halls with long walls?

Large majlis for big rooms and halls are made to order regularly, including layouts that run 591 in (1500 cm) of wall or more. The designer splits long runs into modules that meet cleanly at the corners, so send a floor plan with every wall, door and column.

What's the longest single seat cushion you can make? Can one piece cover my whole wall?

Single seat cushions are kept to about 75 in (190 cm), so a longer wall is divided into two or more pieces set end to end; longer pieces are hard to compress for shipping and strain at the seams. A 146 in (370 cm) wall, for example, becomes two 73 in (185 cm) cushions.

I count a hall one wall at a time and add the corners last: where two walls meet, the second run gives up one seat depth to the corner the first run has taken. Every design in our Yemeni couch and sofa sets is counted this way.

What happens to a run where a door cuts the wall?

A doorway ends one run and starts another, so measure each stretch between the corner and the door opening. Each stretch is split on its own: 165 in (420 cm) becomes three pieces of 55 in (140 cm), and 98 in (250 cm) becomes two of 49 in (125 cm).

Mark columns and vents the same way. Send exact lengths; the team leaves the end allowance, and foam forgives about 2 in (5 cm).

Why won't a standard L-shaped set fill a long hall?

A standard L set covers about 75 × 102 in (190 × 260 cm) of floor, which suits a living-room corner rather than a hall, so a 354 in (900 cm) wall needs a made-to-fit run. I check any hall photo against its piece count first.

Depth stays about 29.5 in (75 cm) at every height, or 19.5 in (50 cm) to 23.5 in (60 cm) in a narrow hall. Seats use high-density polyurethane foam — ask us for the exact density for your build.

Can the hall seating be made in sand or gray instead of beige?

Each plain shade is ordered by its card number, so sand or warm gray work as well as beige, and gold is optional; the first photo shows a gray and sand version.

Ask us about fabric swatches and a foam sample before you order. More beige and sand majlis designs show the tone with other trims.

How do you measure a hall for this seating in three steps?

Run the tape along the floor on each wall, stopping at door frames and columns.
Sketch the hall with doors, windows and vents, and photograph it from both ends.
Add your seat height and send it all to the design team.

Can the hall seating be planned as two facing runs with no corner?

Two facing runs work like two single walls, each closed with an armrest at both ends. Seats of about 29.5 in (75 cm) on both sides leave a hall 197 in (500 cm) wide with about 138 in (350 cm) of floor between them.

How many guests does a 354 in (900 cm) run of Royal Design seating hold?

Each seat piece of about 71 in (180 cm) seats two to three people, so five pieces hold roughly ten to fifteen guests. Armrests along the run take a little room, and the layout drawing shows the final count.

Can more seat pieces be added if the hall is extended later?

Single seat pieces, backrests and covers can be added to an order at any point, so a run can grow with the room. Keep your layout drawing and fabric number, because new pieces are made to the same sizes and color.
