Cushions are pressed, rolled and vacuum-sealed for shipping and spring back to full size once you open them; they can't be re-compressed at home.

Your set ships in several boxes, typically two or three for an L-shape and more for larger layouts, and they may arrive on different days.

Every box gets its own tracking number, emailed as soon as your order ships.

Each shipment travels with a commercial invoice that lists the goods, their value, weight and materials.

Care

Covers unzip and can be machine-washed on a gentle 86°F (30°C) cycle with a mild detergent; avoid heat, which can shrink them.

Can one Emerald Green seat run the full length of a hall wall?

No single piece goes beyond about 75 in (190 cm), so a long wall becomes several seats laid end to end. Equal splits keep the caramel edging and the pillows in step, and pieces of that size can be vacuum-packed for shipping.

What happens where the long Emerald Green runs meet the end wall?

At each corner one run stops short by a seat depth, about 29.5 in (75 cm) here, because the other wall's seating already fills the angle. A 23.5 × 16 × 4 in (60 × 40 × 10 cm) corner backrest closes the gap, so the green line turns cleanly.

How high will you sit?

If someone at home finds low seats hard to get up from, choose 12 in (30 cm) or the 16 in (40 cm) sofa-height option; 4 in (10 cm) to 8 in (20 cm) suits a classic floor-style room or a prayer room.

On a hall this long, the caramel edge draws one straight line from the door to the far wall, so an uneven split shows at once. For a family lounge rather than a hall, the smaller layouts among our Yemeni majlis for family rooms use the same pieces.

How many guests fit along two long walls and an end wall?

Take a hall with two 374 in (950 cm) walls and a 197 in (500 cm) end wall. Each long wall takes five 75 in (190 cm) seats. The end wall loses about 29.5 in (75 cm) at each corner, which leaves room for two 69 in (175 cm) seats.

Twelve seats at two to three adults each give room for twenty-four to thirty-six guests. I count backrests from the seat list, never from a photo: two per seat, plus one corner backrest at each turn.

How do you measure a hall longer than 354 in (900 cm)?

Run the tape at floor level along each wall, stopping at every door opening.
Note how far each column, door frame and window sits from its corner.
Photograph the hall from every corner and letter the walls on a sketch.

A gap of about 2 in (5 cm) at a wall end disappears into the foam, so small errors are harmless. Custom orders start with a layout plan for your approval.

What can change for your hall: color, height or build?

Green is a frequent request, yet either color can be swapped for another swatch number. A deeper emerald on a black-and-gold baroque base appears on the Green Star Royal majlis, and more hall designs sit under palace-style hall majlis designs.

The seat height options are 4 in (10 cm), 8 in (20 cm), 12 in (30 cm) and 16 in (40 cm). Where older guests stay for long evenings, 12 in (30 cm) or 16 in (40 cm) is the height I recommend. A wooden frame sets the seat between 14.5 in (37 cm) and 16 in (40 cm), never lower. Seats use high-density polyurethane foam — ask us for the exact density for your build.

How narrow can the green seats be made if the hall is tight?

A tight hall can take seats trimmed to 19.5 in (50 cm) or 23.5 in (60 cm) deep instead of 29.5 in (75 cm), and a roomy one can go to 33.5 in (85 cm) on request. The saving goes to the walkway.

Are the low tables with brass trays part of the hall majlis?

The tables, trays, rug runners and curtains in the photos belong to the room. The quote covers the seating itself, with its pillows, covers and foam; tables are an extra line if you want them.

Can the long runs stand away from the walls to face the center?

Backrests on a foam majlis lean on something solid, which is why these runs are drawn against the walls. Where a run must face the room with nothing behind it, ask about metal back supports.
