Cushions are pressed, rolled and vacuum-sealed for shipping and spring back to full size once you open them; they can't be re-compressed at home.

Your set ships in several boxes, typically two or three for an L-shape and more for larger layouts, and they may arrive on different days.

Every box gets its own tracking number, emailed as soon as your order ships.

Each shipment travels with a commercial invoice that lists the goods, their value, weight and materials.

Care

Covers unzip and can be machine-washed on a gentle 86°F (30°C) cycle with a mild detergent; avoid heat, which can shrink them.

How high will you sit?

The 4 in (10 cm) and 8 in (20 cm) sets are the everyday choices; 12 in (30 cm) and 16 in (40 cm) cushions are usually made to order.

Stacked cushions are separate pieces, not sewn together, so a top layer can come off and serve as an extra floor mattress for guests.

Can the cream covers on the Elegance Royal Jalsah go in a washing machine?

The covers unzip from the foam and can be machine-washed on a gentle 86°F (30°C) cycle with a mild detergent. Heat can shrink them, so skip the dryer and refit each cover only once it is fully dry.

If one cream seat cover on the Elegance Royal Jalsah gets a mark that will not wash out, can I replace only that piece?

Single pieces and covers-only sets can be ordered any time, so one lasting mark does not mean a new majlis. Ask us with a photo of the piece and its size from your layout drawing.

How does a 146 in (370 cm) wall become seat pieces?

A 146 in (370 cm) wall becomes two equal seats of about 73 in (185 cm), because no seat piece runs past 75 in (190 cm). Walls are measured along the floor from corner to corner, with doorways left out.

Seats sit about 29.5 in (75 cm) deep, or about 19.5 in (50 cm) to 23.5 in (60 cm) for a narrow room. Custom orders start with a layout plan for your approval.

Seats use high-density polyurethane foam — ask us for the exact density for your build. Builds with wood sit at about 14.5 in (37 cm) to 16 in (40 cm) and are not made lower, and on a 16 in (40 cm) seat the backrest brings the total height to about 31.5 in (80 cm). Production time depends on your layout and the season — ask us for the current schedule.

What can change on this design, from fabric to gold trim?

Shade: picked by number from the fabric color card, so the cream can move toward ivory or beige.
Gold: the straps and fretwork accents are optional.
Fabric and build: indoor velvet, chenille, a linen-look weave or a cotton-polyester blend, as all foam or on an MDF and wood frame.

Other ivory and cream majlis designs show how far a pale palette can travel. Pale fabric shows marks sooner than navy or maroon. Ask us about fabric swatches and a foam sample before you order.

How does a cream majlis cope with small children and daily use?

Firm upholstered backrests stay put, while soft pillow-style backs end up on the floor once toddlers find them. Each seat takes two, each about half its length.

From the atelier: A US family with two young children wanted light seating to match rugs they already owned. They chose a beige that sat between two catalog fabric shades and picked firm standard backrests over loose pillow-style ones, because the children would pull loose pillows onto the floor. Their living-room wall was about 335 in (850 cm). The parents had drawn a sketch with help from an AI chat assistant that left room for a small drawer unit, and the designer read it as runs of 236 in (600 cm) and 56 in (142 cm). The proposal came in two builds: a washable standard build and an upholstered 8 in (20 cm) full-sponge build, with an optional rug, table set, ottoman and a three-layer curtain. When the family asked what separated the two builds, the team explained the foam grade and the velvet used in the upholstered one and offered a lighter-spec alternative. The family went ahead with the order.

My rule for pale covers: wash the one that looks dull, not the whole room, and keep the chevron pillows to a few while the children are small.

Can the Elegance Royal Jalsah be made without the brown wood?

Most of our designs can be built with or without a wooden base and backrests, so this one can also be made as all-foam seating. Ask the team how the gold fretwork would carry over.

Are the black glass tables and the blue cove light part of the order?

The order covers the seating: seat modules, backrests, both armrest styles and pillows with covers and filling. Tables, rugs and curtains are separate add-ons, and the lighting belongs to the room.
