Two 75 × 27.5 in (190 × 70 cm) seat cushions meet at a right angle in the Solid Velvet L-shaped floor sofa set, backed by seven square backrest pillows, with three armrest bolsters and two small throw pillows. On the floor it covers about 75 × 102 in (190 × 260 cm), and seats are 4 in (10 cm) or 8 in (20 cm) thick.

Cushions are pressed, rolled and vacuum-sealed for shipping and spring back to full size once you open them; they can't be re-compressed at home.

Your set ships in several boxes, typically two or three for an L-shape and more for larger layouts, and they may arrive on different days.

Every box gets its own tracking number, emailed as soon as your order ships.

Care

Covers unzip and can be machine-washed on a gentle 86°F (30°C) cycle with a mild detergent; avoid heat, which can shrink them.

Questions buyers ask

I bought the 4 in (10 cm) cushions. Can I raise them to 8 in (20 cm) later without replacing the whole set?

An additional 4 in (10 cm) layer can raise a matching 4 in (10 cm) seat to 8 in (20 cm). Check the existing footprint and velvet reference before requesting that layer, so it fits the L you already own. The added layer changes the seat height; it does not automatically change the backrests or package contents.

Can I choose my own fabric color if I don't like any of the colors shown on the website?

Custom colors are normal: almost every model can be made in a fabric and color from our numbered fabric catalog, which covers far more shades than the website shows. Agree the model, layout and seat height first, then choose the fabric by its code.

Packages step from 14 pieces of seating to 15 with the ottoman, 17 with three floor pillows and 18 with both. The seven square backrests give this member of our velvet floor sofa collection a rounder back line than the long rectangular backrests of our kilim sets.

Where does the corner fall on a 75 in (190 cm) by 102 in (260 cm) velvet L?

One seat runs into the corner and the other begins about 27.5 in (70 cm) out from the wall, which is why the second wall needs 102 in (260 cm) for a 75 in (190 cm) seat. Other walls can often take seats cut to length, none longer than 75 in (190 cm), though a few velvet models stay in fixed standard modules. Custom orders start with a layout plan for your approval.

Sizes for other rooms are set out in our L-shaped floor sofa layouts. I vacuum the corner seam first each week, because crumbs gather where two seats meet.

Should a velvet corner seat be 4 in (10 cm) or 8 in (20 cm) high?

Both suit a classic floor-style room, and 8 in (20 cm) can be one block or two stacked 4 in (10 cm) layers, so say which when you order. This set is listed at those two heights only, so anyone who needs a taller seat to stand up easily should ask before ordering.

Seafoam, Emerald or Mustard: which of eleven velvets suits your room?

The set is offered in Amber, Beige, Blue, Brick Red, Gold, Gray, Green, Pink, Purple, Seafoam Green and Mustard Yellow, and its Green is a deep emerald shade. Lighter shades like Beige and Seafoam Green show a spill sooner, while mid and darker tones suit a busy family room.

Which care habits keep a velvet L looking even?

Plump the square backrests and shake out the throw pillows after a busy evening.
Rotate the two seats between the walls every few months so wear spreads evenly.
When a cover needs washing, check the care label of your fabric first, then unzip it and run a gentle 86°F (30°C) machine cycle with mild detergent, keeping it away from heat as it dries.

Is a rug part of any Solid Velvet L package?

No rug is listed in the four packages, so a plain velvet L lets a patterned rug you choose lead the room. Stock rugs run from 31.5 × 79 in (80 × 200 cm) up to 79 × 118 in (200 × 300 cm), though not every size comes in every design.

Can a third seat turn the Solid Velvet L into a U later?

Extra seats and square backrests can be ordered any time, so a third seat on the next wall can make a U. The square backrest count goes from 7 on the L to 11 on the U, so ask us for a matching piece list.
