Cushions are pressed, rolled and vacuum-sealed for shipping and spring back to full size once you open them; they can't be re-compressed at home.

Your set ships in several boxes, typically two or three for an L-shape and more for larger layouts, and they may arrive on different days.

Every box gets its own tracking number, emailed as soon as your order ships.

Each shipment travels with a commercial invoice that lists the goods, their value, weight and materials.

Care

Covers unzip and can be machine-washed on a gentle 86°F (30°C) cycle with a mild detergent; avoid heat, which can shrink them.

How high will you sit?

The 4 in (10 cm) and 8 in (20 cm) sets are the everyday choices; 12 in (30 cm) and 16 in (40 cm) cushions are usually made to order.

Stacked cushions are separate pieces, not sewn together, so a top layer can come off and serve as an extra floor mattress for guests.

How many guests can sit along a hall like this?

Count from wall length, not the guest list: each 75 in (190 cm) seat holds two to three people, and I plan two per seat when coffee trays need a landing spot. In a narrow hall, seats can come down to about 19.5 in (50 cm) to 23.5 in (60 cm) deep.

For a U, measure the back wall from corner to corner, then each side from the back wall to where the seating should stop, leaving doorways out. Mark the path staff walk with trays. Custom orders start with a layout plan for your approval.

Which seat height keeps guests comfortable through a long evening?

Seats can be made 4 in (10 cm), 8 in (20 cm), 12 in (30 cm) or 16 in (40 cm) high; from 12 in (30 cm) up, guests rise more easily after a long sitting. Builds with wood sit at about 14.5 in (37 cm) to 16 in (40 cm), depending on the model, and are not made lower.

Could the same hall be done in another color or fabric?

Any color from the fabric range can go on this design, and the gold trim is optional. Navy blue sits with maroon and green among our most requested colors, and fabrics include indoor velvet, chenille, linen-look weaves and cotton-polyester blends. Halls with the same gold detailing appear among our royal-style majlis rooms.

What goes into a project brief for a full hall quote?

Ask for the quote in separate lines so any add-on can wait until the hall has been in use, and send:

Are the chandeliers, cube tables and carpet part of the full set?

The full set is the seating: seat modules, corner seats, backrests, both armrest styles and pillows, each with cover and filling. Tables, carpet and curtains are separate add-ons; the chandeliers belong to the room.

Can the full set grow along a fourth wall later?

Single seats, backrests, armrests and covers can be ordered any time, so a U can later continue along another wall. Send the first layout drawing with the request so the new pieces follow its sizes.

Can the navy seats be paired with lighter backrests?

Two-tone combinations are possible, so navy seats can carry cream backrests, or the whole hall can move to one lighter shade taken from the numbered swatches.
