Which layout fits a Missouri room, and how do the seats divide?

Questions buyers ask
- Where are you located, and do you deliver to St. Louis?
- The atelier is in Istanbul, and sets are delivered to Missouri addresses from St. Louis to Kansas City and Springfield. Ask us about fabric swatches and a foam sample before you order. We don't have a showroom; ask us for a sample box or a video call.
- I have a small backyard room, about 120 in (305 cm) by 144 in (366 cm). Will a majlis fit?
- A room that size takes an L: two equal seats of 72 in (183 cm) along the 144 in (366 cm) wall and two of about 46 in (118 cm) along the 120 in (305 cm) wall, which gives up 27.5 in (70 cm) to the corner. The designer draws the layout before anything is cut.
How do you measure a basement family room when the stairs are the narrowest part?
- Walk the route from the entrance to the room and mark narrow stairs and tight turns, because the cushions arrive rolled and vacuum-sealed in boxes that have to get there first.
- In a basement, mark any pipe, post or heater that stands against a wall you plan to seat.
- In a backyard room, measure the inside walls from corner to corner.
- Ask for a piece list with the layout drawing, so the boxes can be counted against it when they arrive.

How firm and how high should a Missouri seat be?
Seats use high-density polyurethane foam — ask us for the exact density for your build. Thickness changes the feel too: a 8 in (20 cm) seat built as one solid block feels more uniform, while two stacked 4 in (10 cm) layers are lighter to handle, and the top layer can lift off to serve as a floor mattress for guests.
For guests who find the floor hard, 12 in (30 cm) or the 16 in (40 cm) sofa-height option works, and wooden-base models run 14.5 in (37 cm) to 16 in (40 cm) depending on the model.
Can you order covers only, replacement foam or bolsters alone?
Covers can be ordered without foam, for example to refresh a set in a new color. Single pieces, replacement foam and covers-only sets can be ordered any time, so a Missouri household can top up a set later instead of starting again.
What should a Missouri household do when the boxes arrive on different days?
Two or three boxes carry an L and more carry a larger layout. The boxes can land on different days, and each has its own tracking number in the email sent when the order ships. Does Missouri get seven months of patio weather?
NOAA station normals for St. Louis put the average daily high at about 41°F (5°C) in January and 90°F (32°C) in July, with about 16.5 in (42 cm) of snow a year. Highs stay between 64°F (18°C) and 90°F (32°C) for seven months, from April to October, the stretch when a backyard room or an outdoor set gets the most use. For terraces we use a water-repellent outdoor fabric, mostly in plain colors; the regular upholstery is for indoor rooms.
How does low mandi seating work when a carpenter builds the base?

Floor sofas lean against a wall or another firm surface, a freestanding run needs a model with a wooden base and backrest, and metal back supports can be added on request. Do Afghan-style sets come in dark green, or only in maroon?
Afghan-style sets, long floor mattresses with backrests and armrests, can be made in most colors of our fabric range, deep greens included. Send a photo of the layout you like, and ask for swatches in the green you want before the order is confirmed.
Can I see how an L with a coffee table and curtains will look before I order?
Any combination can be quoted, and the rug, poufs or ottoman can be left out; tables, rugs and curtains are separate add-ons. Custom orders start with a layout plan for your approval. It shows every piece with its measurements.
Our label says package 1 of 2 and only part of the set arrived. Is something missing?
Larger sets ship in more than one box, and the boxes can arrive on different days. Count the pieces against the list on your order and check the tracking for each box. If one is still missing after the rest arrive, send the order details to the team and it will trace the box.
Can I order only the covers and buy the foam myself?
Covers can be ordered without foam, but list every piece by length, depth and thickness, because a cover sewn for one insert will not close over a thicker one. Before production the team confirms every measurement, the seat height and the fabric code with you.
