Wholesale Arabic Floor Sofas and Majlis Sets from Istanbul

Wholesale Arabic sofa orders reach trade buyers in three ways: container loads of standard compressed floor sets, trial or display orders for a store, and orders placed one customer project at a time. Every route starts from the same five-piece set, and each quote is built from your models, quantities and destination.

Questions buyers ask

3 questions

Do you sell floor sofa sets and majlis wholesale, and what quantity counts as a wholesale order?

Floor sofa sets and made-to-measure majlis are both supplied to trade buyers. Terms depend on volume and are set per order, not from a fixed list, so tell the team the quantity you have in mind. Mixed models and colors can share one order, and trade sets are vacuum-packed set by set, ready for resale. Ask us about freight options for large and commercial orders.

How does wholesale work for made-to-measure majlis rather than ready floor sofa sets?

Trade majlis orders start by fixing one standard layout, because a majlis is normally cut to a single room. A reseller picks a piece length up to 75 in (190 cm), a seat height such as 16 in (40 cm) and a set shape, for example a U of three 118 in (300 cm) walls. Once the pieces per set and the number of sets are confirmed, every set is made to the same drawing.

If I use my own freight forwarder, can you issue the export invoice and tell me the HS code?

Goods handed to your forwarder travel with a commercial invoice and packing list that set out each item, its value, weight and materials. The tariff code is your customs broker's decision, since cushions, wooden frames and rugs can fall under different headings. Agree the loading date early, so every box is ready before the container closes.

Container load, trial order or one project at a time: which trade track fits?

Trade buyers rarely start at the same point. A store owner wants one display set first, a distributor plans full loads, and a designer orders per client. Venue owners furnishing their own café or hall should start from our seating guide for businesses instead, while resellers read on here.

Questions venues ask

3 questions

How many floor sofa sets fit in one shipping container?

Container counts are worked out per order, because single sets, L and U units, raised majlis and wooden benches all take different room. Send the mix you have in mind and the container size, and the team returns the set count for that load before you commit.

Which shipping arrangement fits a large order?

Confirm the shipping arrangement for container loads, small orders and trial orders in your quote. Ask us about freight options for large and commercial orders. Plan restock dates around the schedule confirmed in your quote.

How do we request a trade quotation with specifications, weights and lead times?

Send photos of the models you selected, the quantity and length of each, any drawings and the delivery point. Ask in the same request for fabric and foam specifications, packed weights and photos of comparable work. Production time depends on your layout and the season — ask us for the current schedule.

What is in one standard trade set?

The trade unit is a five-piece floor set, identical in every load: one seat, two backrests and two armrests. Seats come in four thicknesses; the 4 in (10 cm) and 8 in (20 cm) versions are the everyday choices, while 12 in (30 cm) and 16 in (40 cm) are usually made to order.

Planning questions

5 questions

How are trade sets packed for a container or a parcel route?

Each set is vacuum-compressed, with the seat in one package and the backrests and armrests in another. Bulk orders can also be packed normally when the route makes vacuum bags unnecessary.

Ask us about freight options for large and commercial orders.

Once a bag is opened, give the foam roughly a day to regain its shape. Display sets should come out of their bags the day before they go on the shop floor.

Filled sets or covers only: which ships better?

Covers can be ordered without foam, which suits a store that fills them locally or refreshes a set in a new color. Foam is the bulkiest part of every parcel, so covers-only orders pack far smaller. Matching upholstery fabric can also be ordered by the meter.

Which labels and documents should a reseller ask about?

Selling rules for upholstered seating fall on whoever offers it to the public, and they differ by market. Some US states, Pennsylvania among them, require registration and a law label for upholstered furniture sold there.

  • Which label your market requires, and who must attach it before sale.
  • Which fabric documents your own buyers or venue customers may request.
  • What the commercial invoice lists: the goods, their value, weight and materials.
  • How duties are handled for your country; they are stated in your quote.

If a retailer, landlord or inspector asks for fabric documents, send that written requirement with your first enquiry; the team checks each fabric against it and says plainly when none fits.

How do resellers judge quality before the first order?

Trade buyers judge the work before it reaches their floor. I suggest one standard set as a test before any container, compared side by side with whatever else you stock: foam, zips and stitching. We don't have a showroom; ask us for a sample box or a video call.

Custom orders are photographed and filmed for your approval before they ship. Our majlis fabric guide covers the velvet, chenille and kilim-weave families a store can choose from.

When should a store order ahead of Ramadan and the wedding season?

Ready-made sets are packed soon after payment — ask us for the current dispatch time. Production time depends on your layout and the season — ask us for the current schedule.

A workable split is to stock standard sets and take custom majlis as customer orders. Plan seasonal restocks around the order-by dates below.

Project brief

What goes into a first trade enquiry?

  • Your track: container, trial or display, or project by project.
  • The models and patterns, with the quantity of each.
  • Seat thickness, and whether you want filled sets or covers only.
  • The destination country, and whether goods are delivered or handed to your forwarder.
  • How you sell: a store floor, online, or to designers and venues.

Length, seat height, build and fabric all move a trade quote, and our guide to what shapes a majlis quote walks through each. Five lines like these let the team answer with a quote and a spec sheet instead of more questions.
