Two 75 × 27.5 in (190 × 70 cm) seat cushions meeting at a corner backrest form the Milas L-shaped floor sofa set, which takes about 75 in (190 cm) of one wall and 102 in (260 cm) of the next in a red or maroon kilim-style weave. The second wall gives up about 27.5 in (70 cm) to the corner, and an armrest bolster closes each open end.

Cushions are pressed, rolled and vacuum-sealed for shipping and spring back to full size once you open them; they can't be re-compressed at home.

Your set ships in several boxes, typically two or three for an L-shape and more for larger layouts, and they may arrive on different days.

Every box gets its own tracking number, emailed as soon as your order ships.

Each shipment travels with a commercial invoice that lists the goods, their value, weight and materials.

Care

Covers unzip and can be machine-washed on a gentle 86°F (30°C) cycle with a mild detergent; avoid heat, which can shrink them.

How much wall space do the standard L-shaped and U-shaped floor sofa sets need?

A standard L needs roughly 75 in (190 cm) of one wall and 102 in (260 cm) of the other, since the two 75 × 27.5 in (190 × 70 cm) seats join at a right angle and the corner uses one seat depth. A standard U needs about 130 in (330 cm) of back wall and 75 in (190 cm) per side. Other walls get the same model cut to their lengths.

Is the overall room size enough for a quote, or do you need each wall measured?

Overall room size is a start, but an accurate quote needs the wall-to-wall length of every wall that will carry seating, plus a simple sketch of doors, windows and corners and a photo of the room. Cushion sizes are not your job: the designer turns wall lengths into seats, backrests and corner pieces and sends a layout drawing for approval.

Two backrests stand on each seat, and the shorter corner backrest fills the joint where the runs meet. Build the seats from two stacked 4 in (10 cm) layers and the full set grows to 16 pieces. The traditional floor sofa models page sets Milas beside the other kilim-style patterns.

How is the Milas L planned on walls longer than 102 in (260 cm)?

No seat cushion runs past 75 in (190 cm); longer walls are divided into equal seats instead, so a 134 in (340 cm) run becomes two 67 in (170 cm) seats. On the second wall the designer first sets aside about 27.5 in (70 cm) at the corner, one seat's depth, then splits the rest. I mark every door and radiator on the sketch before I split a single run.

Backrests are divided evenly too, so a 67 in (170 cm) seat carries two backrests of roughly 33.5 in (85 cm). Where a seat is shortened, the kilim repeat ends wherever the cut falls, and the drawing shows it. Custom orders start with a layout plan for your approval.

How high do the Milas L seats sit at each thickness?

Which Milas ground, red or maroon, suits the room?

Milas comes in two colorways, Red and Maroon, both photographed, with orange, teal and ivory accents running through the kilim panels. The photographed sets pair the weave with a plain velvet-look ottoman, which keeps the middle of the corner calm while the pattern stays on the walls. Like our other patterned weaves, it belongs indoors rather than on a terrace. Ask the team to film both colorways by a window before you choose.

What should you note before asking for a Milas L quote?

Mark the longer wall and whether the corner sits on your left or right as you face it.
Measure from the corner to every door frame, radiator and outlet along both walls.
Photograph the corner from each end with the tape lying on the floor.

Send those notes with the thickness and colorway you prefer, and the design team returns a drawing with every piece. Two-wall room examples are collected under L-shaped majlis layouts.

Can the Milas L corner sit under a window?

Each backrest is 16 in (40 cm) tall and rests against the wall above the seat, so its top sits about 19.5 in (50 cm) from the floor on 4 in (10 cm) seats and about 31.5 in (80 cm) on 16 in (40 cm) seats. Mark each sill height on your sketch so the drawing can check the corner against it.

How tall is the plain ottoman in the Milas L full set?

The ottoman measures 23.5 × 23.5 × 8 in (60 × 60 × 20 cm), the usual height beside standard seats. With 12 in (30 cm) or 16 in (40 cm) cushions it can be made taller to match, up to about 16 in (40 cm), so mention it when you choose the thickness.

Can a Milas L be split into two straight runs in another home?

The seats, backrests and armrests are loose pieces, so each wall of the L can stand alone as a straight run. The corner backrest is then spare, and each new open end needs an armrest, which can be ordered in the same weave.
