Star Royal Jalsah in Pearl Ivory with a Figure-Eight Table

The Star Royal Jalsah is a pearl-ivory majlis suited to long rooms, cut to each wall at about 29.5 in (75 cm) deep, or down to about 19.5 in (50 cm)–23.5 in (60 cm) where a narrow hall needs a clear walkway. Plain seat blocks alternate with gold-leaf printed ones, which spreads the gold along each wall as a repeating beat instead of a continuous band.

Cushions are pressed, rolled and vacuum-sealed for shipping and spring back to full size once you open them; they can't be re-compressed at home.

Your set ships in several boxes, typically two or three for an L-shape and more for larger layouts, and they may arrive on different days.

Every box gets its own tracking number, emailed as soon as your order ships.

Care

Covers unzip and can be machine-washed on a gentle 86°F (30°C) cycle with a mild detergent; avoid heat, which can shrink them.

Can we do a video call so you understand what I want before you prepare a quote?

Ask us for a design consultation — we can talk through your room on a video call. Have the Star Royal model reference, wall lengths and a sketch ready, so the discussion leads to a measured proposal. The written component drawing then records the choices to confirm before production begins.

Can you make exactly the majlis shown in one of your videos, in the same color and design?

Any model in our photos or videos can be made again in the same color and design, sized to your room. Send the screenshot or model name, because similar-looking designs may be all foam or on a wooden frame.

How high will you sit?

If someone at home finds low seats hard to get up from, choose 12 in (30 cm) or the 16 in (40 cm) sofa-height option; 4 in (10 cm) to 8 in (20 cm) suits a classic floor-style room or a prayer room.

How is the Star Royal Jalsah fitted to a long, narrow room?

A long room suits this design best: two facing runs follow the long walls, a shorter run closes one end, and the figure-eight table keeps a walkway clear down the middle. Each long wall becomes several modules joined end to end.

In a narrow hall the seat depth can come down to about 19.5 in (50 cm)–23.5 in (60 cm), which keeps the walkway open between the table and the seat fronts. Custom orders start with a layout plan for your approval.

How high should the Star Royal seats sit for your guests?

Seats can be made 4 in (10 cm), 8 in (20 cm), 12 in (30 cm) or 16 in (40 cm) high: the two lower heights keep classic floor seating, while 12 in (30 cm) or sofa height is easier for anyone who finds low seats hard to rise from. Modules are all foam or foam on an MDF and wood frame.

A raised build shows more of the printed base, and I find the gold-leaf panels at their best from 12 in (30 cm) upward, where window light reaches the whole run. Seats use high-density polyurethane foam — ask us for the exact density for your build.

How does pearl ivory read by day and under evening light?

Pearl ivory is a warm white with a slight sheen, and the gold-leaf print is made to look gently worn, like old gilding, so the set feels softer than polished gold trim. The plain blocks can be made in another pale shade from the color card; ask whether the print comes on it.

What should you send to order the Star Royal Jalsah?

Measure each seating wall from corner to corner and mark doors and windows on a sketch.
Photograph the room from the doorway and from the far end.
Note your seat height and whether the plain blocks stay pearl ivory.

The figure-eight table in the photos is room styling, and matching table sets in drum, star or square shapes can be quoted with the seating. Custom orders are photographed and filmed for your approval before they ship.

Is a plainer Star Royal Jalsah without the gold-leaf print possible?

The gold is optional on most designs, so the layout can be made in plain pearl ivory with only channel stitching for texture, or with the print kept on a few blocks.

Is the figure-eight drum table part of the Star Royal set?

The seating and the tables are quoted separately. The figure-eight table in the photos is a group of linked drum tables with black glass tops, and a similar set can be added to your quote.
