Cushions are pressed, rolled and vacuum-sealed for shipping and spring back to full size once you open them; they can't be re-compressed at home.

Your set ships in several boxes, typically two or three for an L-shape and more for larger layouts, and they may arrive on different days.

Every box gets its own tracking number, emailed as soon as your order ships.

Each shipment travels with a commercial invoice that lists the goods, their value, weight and materials.

Care

Covers unzip and can be machine-washed on a gentle 86°F (30°C) cycle with a mild detergent; avoid heat, which can shrink them.

How many guests fit along one hall wall of Acanthus Medallion benches?

One 75 in (190 cm) bench seats about three adults, while a run of five benches along a 378 in (960 cm) wall seats about ten guests in comfort. Send the length of every wall, and the design team adds up benches and seats on the layout drawing.

Is the Acanthus Medallion carpet-weave wooden seating firm enough for a hall used every week?

The wooden line sits firmer than our all-foam sets, because each seat cushion rests on a bench, and it is a common choice for cafés and restaurants. The carpet-style weave on the faces is heavier than regular upholstery fabric.

Three straight benches and two corners turn a long room into one continuous run with no gap at the turns. Tables, rugs and poufs in hall photos are separate add-ons. This model uses Turkish carpet-weave fabric on wooden frames; the separate Sedir Bench collection uses pine benches with kilim-patterned cushions.

How is a long hall wall divided into benches?

A long wall is split into whole benches, since the frames come in fixed lengths of about 47 in (120 cm), 59 in (150 cm), 71 in (180 cm) and 75 in (190 cm). A 378 in (960 cm) wall takes five 75 in (190 cm) benches end to end, with 4 in (10 cm) to spare. Corner benches square off each turn so the seat runs on.

The wall with the door decides the plan for me, because the run has to stop short of the opening. Cut-outs for floor vents and power outlets can be built into a wooden base. Custom orders start with a layout plan for your approval.

What height and firmness does a carpet-weave wooden seating give a hall?

Seats sit about 14.5 in (37 cm) to 16 in (40 cm) from the floor, close to a regular living-room sofa, and wooden-base seating is not made lower. That height suits halls where older guests stay through long gatherings.

The seat feels firm and upright, since the cushion rests on wood rather than deeper foam. Seats use high-density polyurethane foam — ask us for the exact density for your build. Storage under the seat is possible on wooden-base builds, which helps a hall that keeps spare covers or prayer rugs. Backrests lean on the wall, so every run needs one behind it.

Which colorway, ivory with blue or teal with gold?

Two colorways are made in this weave: ivory with blue, and teal with gold. Ivory keeps a large hall bright, and teal reads deeper against a pale floor. The Acanthus Medallion sets scrolling leaves around a central medallion, a look often linked with Ottoman baroque rooms, and the Acanthus Medallion pattern traces where it comes from.

If this pair is not quite right, teal majlis designs gather other turquoise and petrol shades. Ask us about fabric swatches and a foam sample before you order.

What should a mosque or community hall prepare before ordering?

Can these benches be made in a different color pair?

This weave comes in ivory with blue, teal with gold, and navy with cream on a sister design. Some patterned weaves exist only in the colors shown, so ask the team before planning a hall around a new pair.

What sits behind the backrests if a run faces the middle of the hall?

Without a wall, the cushion backrests have nothing to rest on. For a run in the open, the team suggests a model with a wooden base and a wooden backrest, or adds metal back supports on request.

Why are tables and poufs not part of the 19 pieces?

The 19 pieces are the seating itself. Tables, rugs, poufs and curtains seen in hall photos are separate add-ons, and the team can quote foam ottomans of 23.5 × 23.5 × 8 in (60 × 60 × 20 cm) alongside the benches.
