Saray Single Floor Sofa Set with a Framed Medallion Weave

Eleven colorways of framed medallions are offered on the Saray single floor sofa set, a one-wall seat of 75 × 27.5 in (190 × 70 cm) with two backrests and an armrest bolster at each end. Seats run 4 in (10 cm) to 16 in (40 cm) thick, and the medallions appear on the seat top as well as both backrests.

Cushions are pressed, rolled and vacuum-sealed for shipping and spring back to full size once you open them; they can't be re-compressed at home.

Your set ships in several boxes, typically two or three for an L-shape and more for larger layouts, and they may arrive on different days.

Every box gets its own tracking number, emailed as soon as your order ships.

Each shipment travels with a commercial invoice that lists the goods, their value, weight and materials.

Care

Covers unzip and can be machine-washed on a gentle 86°F (30°C) cycle with a mild detergent; avoid heat, which can shrink them.

Questions buyers ask

Can I get my floor sofa in plain black or charcoal, or is black not available in every pattern?

Black comes in plain velvet and a few patterned fabrics, but not in every pattern. Designs such as the Saray medallion are woven only in their own colorways, and navy is then the closest dark tone.

My floor cushions feel too low now that they've arrived. Can I add an extra layer later?

An extra layer can be made later to the length and depth of your seat cushions, as a thinner topper or as one thicker cushion replacing the original. Send each seat's size with the fabric name or a photo so the new layer matches.

Which Saray color works on one wall, from light blue to maroon?

Saray is Turkish for palace. The name points to Ottoman reception rooms, where guests sat on low cushions along the walls. Each backrest carries a stepped, hook-edged medallion borrowed from Anatolian village rugs. The Saray pattern page traces that medallion to the village loom.

Colorways run from blue, light blue and turquoise to green, gray, brown, red, maroon, navy blue, royal blue and mustard yellow. Pick the shade in daylight. Ask us about fabric swatches and a foam sample before you order. The weave is made for indoor rooms.

How firm is a Saray seat at 4 in (10 cm), 8 in (20 cm), 12 in (30 cm) or 16 in (40 cm)?

I test a seat by sitting ten minutes, then standing without using my hands. Made-to-order sets take a little longer than ready ones — ask us for the current timing.

What if the wall is shorter or longer than 75 in (190 cm)?

A seat piece is at most about 75 in (190 cm) long, so a longer wall is split into two or more cushions. A shorter wall takes a seat cut to length or a half seat of about 37.5 in (95 cm). Some patterned weaves come only in standard modules. Custom orders start with a layout plan for your approval.

What is under a Saray cover, and how does it wash?

Each cover holds a foam insert, with no springs and no frame. Covers unzip and can be machine-washed on a gentle 86°F (30°C) cycle with a mild detergent. Keep them out of the dryer, because heat can shrink them. Spare covers can be ordered any time.

What should you check on the day the Saray single arrives?

Count the pieces against your package: 5 for the seating, 10 for the full set.
Open the vacuum bags within about a week and give the foam about a day to recover.
Run a hand along each zipper and corner seam once the cushions are out of the bags.

Can two Saray singles face each other across a room?

Two singles on facing walls work as a pair of sofas with the ottoman between them. Each needs a wall to lean on, and metal back supports can be added on request.

Will the Saray medallions stay centered on a seat cut shorter than 75 in (190 cm)?

A shorter cut can move the medallion off center, and some patterned models are made only in standard modules. The layout drawing shows how the pattern falls before anything is cut.

Can the Saray single grow into an L-shaped set later?

Seats, backrests, corner backrests and armrests in the Saray weave can be ordered any time. Send photos of your set and its colorway name, and the team lists what the corner needs.
