Saray U-Shaped Floor Sofa Set with Medallions on Three Walls

Framed medallions repeat along all three runs of the Saray U-shaped floor sofa set, which seats a reception room on three 75 × 27.5 in (190 × 70 cm) seat cushions with eight backrests and three armrest bolsters. Saray, the Turkish word for palace, takes its hooked medallion from Anatolian village rugs and comes in 11 colorways.

Cushions are pressed, rolled and vacuum-sealed for shipping and spring back to full size once you open them; they can't be re-compressed at home.

Your set ships in several boxes, typically two or three for an L-shape and more for larger layouts, and they may arrive on different days.

Every box gets its own tracking number, emailed as soon as your order ships.

Each shipment travels with a commercial invoice that lists the goods, their value, weight and materials.

Care

Covers unzip and can be machine-washed on a gentle 86°F (30°C) cycle with a mild detergent; avoid heat, which can shrink them.

What's the difference between your classic floor seating sets and a premium custom majlis?

A ready-size Saray U uses the listed cushion dimensions and package contents. A made-to-measure majlis follows your wall lengths and an approved component drawing. Compare the build, seat height and included pieces on the specification; the distinction is about the ordering format rather than a general claim of higher quality.

Can I combine a regular sofa or a raised majlis with floor seating in the same room?

Mixed layouts work well: keep a regular sofa or a raised majlis on one side and a floor-seating corner or single-wall set on the other. Both zones can share the same fabric and colors.

What changes when your walls are not 75 in (190 cm), 130 in (330 cm) and 75 in (190 cm)?

On longer or shorter walls the design team divides each run evenly, so every seat stays at 75 in (190 cm) or less and the medallion row keeps an even rhythm. Ask whether your colorway can be cut to custom lengths, because some patterned weaves are made only in standard 75 in (190 cm) modules. Custom orders start with a layout plan for your approval.

How big a rug suits the open floor inside the Saray U?

On the standard plan, the seats frame an open floor of roughly 75 × 47 in (190 × 120 cm): about 75 in (190 cm) between the side runs and 47 in (120 cm) from the back seat to the open end. Measure that space once the seating is in, then size the rug to it; rugs are also sold on their own, up to about 79 × 118 in (200 × 300 cm), and a large floor can take two. Three-wall room plans with sizes are on U-shaped layouts with measurements.

Which Saray colors are photographed, and which come from the color card?

Saray is woven in 11 colorways: Navy Blue, Royal Blue, Blue, Turquoise, Green, Gray, Taupe, Brown, Maroon, Red and Mustard Yellow. All but Taupe are photographed, and Taupe is chosen from the color card. Saray means palace in Turkish, after the Ottoman halls where low cushions ran around the walls for visitors, and the Saray pattern story traces the hooked medallion back to Anatolian village rugs.

Can the Saray U be made in black?

The Saray weave is not made in true black. Navy Blue is the closest dark option among its 11 colorways, with Maroon and Brown as the other deep grounds.

Is there anything to assemble when the Saray U arrives?

Nothing: the foam is already inside the covers, and on a custom U each piece is laid out at the workshop first and numbered, so you place them in order. Give the vacuum-packed seats about a day to recover before the first guests.

Can the Saray U go on a covered terrace?

Terraces need a different cloth. The Saray weave is made for indoor rooms, and the atelier's outdoor range is water-repellent and comes mostly in plain colors, so the medallion pattern stays an indoor design.
