Cushions are pressed, rolled and vacuum-sealed for shipping and spring back to full size once you open them; they can't be re-compressed at home.

Your set ships in several boxes, typically two or three for an L-shape and more for larger layouts, and they may arrive on different days.

Every box gets its own tracking number, emailed as soon as your order ships.

Each shipment travels with a commercial invoice that lists the goods, their value, weight and materials.

How high will you sit?

If someone at home finds low seats hard to get up from, choose 12 in (30 cm) or the 16 in (40 cm) sofa-height option; 4 in (10 cm) to 8 in (20 cm) suits a classic floor-style room or a prayer room.

Questions buyers ask

Can a marked cover on the gold-banded greige backrests be washed on its own?

Covers unzip and can be machine-washed on a gentle 86°F (30°C) cycle, so one marked backrest cover can be cleaned without stripping the set. Check the care label of your fabric before the first wash, and keep the cover away from high heat while it dries, because heat can shrink it.

If the chocolate seat covers wear out before the gold-banded backrests, can only those be replaced?

Seat covers can be renewed on their own: new covers, fresh foam or whole single pieces are available whenever you need them, while the greige backrests stay as they are. Quote the fabric code from your layout drawing so the new covers match.

Dark below, light above. The seat takes crumbs, spills and children. The backrest mostly meets shoulders. Mocha and greige appear in other Yemeni majlis designs, but this one puts the darker fabric where wear starts first.

Why are the seats dark and the backrests light?

A light seat shows a coffee drop at once. Chocolate velvet hides the everyday dust of a family room far longer. I keep the palest shade up where hands and plates rarely go.

How does the majlis sit under a row of windows?

Backrests stand 16 in (40 cm) tall. On a 16 in (40 cm) seat, the top of the backrest reaches about 31.5 in (80 cm). Measure each sill from the floor before you choose a seat height.

Seats are shared out evenly along each wall, never past 75 in (190 cm) apiece, so a 118 in (300 cm) window wall gets two 59 in (150 cm) seats. Floor vents and sockets stay usable, since the base can be cut out around them or given an opening for air. Custom orders start with a layout plan for your approval.

All foam or a wooden frame: which is easier to clean around?

All-foam modules lift away, so the floor beneath can be vacuumed. A wooden frame stays put and keeps the seat at 14.5 in (37 cm) to 16 in (40 cm), depending on the model. Only a wooden-base build can hide storage under the seat. Either way the seat feels firm to medium-firm. Seats use high-density polyurethane foam — ask us for the exact density for your build.

What should you do when coffee reaches the greige?

A fresh spill: press a dry towel onto it straight away, without rubbing.
A ring that stays: unzip that one cover and wash it gently at 86°F (30°C).
A cushion flat after unpacking: give it about a day to recover its shape.

Can someone come and measure the window walls for this majlis?

There are no home visits or on-site measuring. You measure each wall yourself, the design team can guide you on a video call, and your numbers and photos become a seat-by-seat drawing.

Could the seats be navy instead of chocolate, keeping the greige backrests?

Two-tone orders work part by part: each part gets its own swatch number, so navy seats can sit under the greige backrests. A darker seat still hides everyday wear the same way.

Can this two-tone majlis run along a single window wall?

Sets are planned as one straight run, an L-shape or a U-shape, so a single long window wall works. The run is split into equal seats, and a 75 in (190 cm) seat carries two 37.5 in (95 cm) backrests.
